It can, however, put the disease into remission if treatment is started in the very early stages of infection. Palms with more than 25% of their leaves showing discoloration are unlikely to respond to treatment.<\/p><h2><strong>Host Resistance<\/strong><\/h2><p>The most practical and long-term solution for managing Lethal Yellowing is the use of resistant palm species and cultivars.<\/p><p>While many popular ornamental palms, such as the coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) and the date palm (Phoenix dactylifera), are highly susceptible, a number of other species have shown good resistance.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element
